The quetzal is beautiful bird. There are many interesting things that it does. They are actually very weak flyers. Both parents take care of them in the beginning, but then the mother abandons the child. Where they live, there are incredible bird sounds. Although, the quetzal is a terrible whistler. The quetzal's tail is very special. It makes predators think that its their body, so if an animal attacks it will have more chance of going to its tail instead of his body. They usually eat fruit, but sometimes add insects, avocados, and even frogs. What do you think is unique about the quetzal?
