The Bambusa Tulda
The Bambusa tulda is a type of bamboo that is common and also plays an important role in our biome. This plant likes temperature between 40 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This specific bamboo can grow between 40 feet and 80 feet in height and is about 3 inches in diameter when it is mature. This plant can grow very fast and is full grown in about only two to three months. This species life span is about 25 to 40 years. Although there are many types of plants in rainforests, this plant helps its environment. It can reduce soil erosion which damages the ecosystem, suck up water from heavy rains that might flood the rainforest, and also provide shelter for many animals.
